Talking I'm back!!!

Most members are not familiar with me so I thought I would re-introduce myself. I joined in 2000. I was active up until my retirement in 2009 then kind of fell off the map. Well, I am back and have been working P/T as a curator for a private collection of antique cars. Nice retirement gig. I have been at this for almost 6 years and I now have an equipped shop and museum to work on my 1969 Camaro. For those not aware and those who think THEIR project is taking too long, I have been on mine for 22 years. In this time, I have worked two jobs (sometimes), raised a wife and two kids, got one through college and the other partially through. I have been working (actively) on my Camaro for the past three years and have a target completion date of another $7,000.00. As I am building this thing, I have amassed a collection of parts I will not be using.

I had to edit your post a little, but selling in open forum isn't allowed.

Hey, Jim... welcome back! We never hear from Buck anymore, either, he's over in your neck of the woods. You don't happen to know him, do you?

Re: I'm back!!!

Thanks guys. Things have changed as I am not really trying to sell anything just yet, just trying to help other Camaro guys. I will post the items (in the correct forum) when I have my garage sale. To the old timers, thanks for the shout out. Don, I do remember your shop and the Chevy II. It was a great tour and I loved the "Springs" area. Click! Glad to hear from you. The first round is on me. As for Buck, I don't see much of him. He is still living behind me, he has not been active for a few years and his project is dead for all I know. I can't pee in his garden anymore since he put up a 6 ft privacy fence. As a matter of fact, he no longer puts out a garden. He always said his cucumbers tasted like urine. Go figure. Oh, by the way, my employer owns a chocolate candy company here in Dayton. For me, the best of both worlds. I will be stopping in from time to time for a visit and advice. This week, I have another retirement party for another criminal investigator (partner) of mine. Since I retired (01-01-10), the office has gone from 9 to 1. They all retired. The last man standing won't last long. Tyranny has a habit of wearing you down quickly.
