Greetings from AZ

Greetings from sunny Arizona. Currently own a 15 ZL1, and looking to buy a 67-69 Camaro Big Block (4 or 5 speed preferred, but will take an automatic) in the 15-22k range. I've owned a few Camaros, Novas, and Vettes over the years and just sold my 72 BB Vette and decided it's time for a "fat guy" approved muscle car like a 1st gen Camaro. Something a little easier to get in and out of lol.

I have seen a lot of nice ones on CL. They go fast if priced right.

Welcome aboard.

The price range you state will somewhat limit you so far as quality of 1st Gens available. You can probably find a decent driver and with time TLC and $ build your dream car.

Enjoy the adventure.

Don't laugh but this could be in you budget with adding less than 10k to it.

This car has been made fun of on here before but seriously the running gear and the interior are decent.

Re: Greetings from AZ

That one has not surprisingly been for sale for a while. At 8K really could be corrected and would still be an ok buy as a builder. It is a complete running/driving first Jen even with the ugly.

That's what I was thinking and that is the asking price, even though they say firm cash talks.

Re: Greetings from AZ

Wow, if the map on the CL listing means that's the location, it's about 10 min from me.

Worth a look just keep it hidden in the garage til it's done. Would not want to scare the neighbors children.

Re: Greetings from AZ

That one popped up again today. For 8K and some new sheet metal that is readily available it could be brought back from its crack look. Even after that might still be the least expensive 68 around.
