Question 68 SS vs 69 'vert

I've got my 68 undocumented SS, big block, 4 speed. Not perfect, driver quality. I've done some work on it, and debating about sending it away to get it rewired and a few other things. Basically about to sink some good cash into it.

Had someone reach out to me (the fella I bought it from) who has a '69 convertible. New top, and he's put the RS kit partially on it.
The drawbacks are that it's an auto and it's bone stock. Original small block, original manifolds. I'm getting more info on it next week.

Thoughts?

Post pics of both. That may help. Some prefer 68s. Some prefer 69s. Some are partial to ragtops. Up to your own personal preferences and your appetite for $.
