Quick note to introduce myself, I'm Richard, based just outside Toronto in Canada.
I don't have a Camaro (yet) but a friend is moving abroad and I'm looking at buying his '69 car, I wasn't planning on getting anything in the dpeths of winter so I'm researching and learning quickly.
Have given the car the once over today and while it's not perfect, for the most part it's in good condition, I'm looking or a car to use, not show, polish and store so character is fine with me.
It does have a couple of areas of concern, one axle bracket has had one of the welds fail which I'm hoping is a relatively straightforward fix (get it re-welded) but there is some rust bubbling starting up on the panel line between the quarter and the rear deck panel. From reading here and elsewhere it seems like this isn't uncommon but the car was only restored 5-6 years ago so I'm hoping this isn't the first of many such issues appearing.
Am I best to start a separate thread to discuss each issue?
