Hello everyone,

I'm Derek from southern PA. Nearing the finish line on a restoration on my '69 RS and just looking forward to finally be part of the community and get out on the road in the spring!

Re: new member

Hey guys,

My car is a 1969 X11 RS. The car came daytona yellow with the deluxe yellow/black houndstooth interior as well. I began the project 10 years ago as a father/son project with my dad. It has been a full frame off restoration due to the terrible condition of the car when we got it. The idea for the car is to retain stock-ish appearance with a view tweaks here and there, such as the stripes you see in the pics. We are not completely sure which engine came with the car originally but it was most likely the small V8 (307 i believe). We have installed a mild 302 that should get us going until the craving for more power hits haha. Just need to finish up the wiring, interior, and exhaust and all the other tiny things that you don't think about.

Thanks!
