Hi All,

Stumbled upon the page and I like what I see. I am beginning to get back to work on my 68 Camaro. Have had the car for years, bought if from a friends parents for 1600.00. front end damaged due to crash. I replaced the hood, RF fender, inner fender, radiator support, header, grill and lights. The car has been a work in progress. Car is a base model 327 manual 3 speed with 10 bolt. Motor was bored out .60 over. Replaced 3 speed with a M-21 4 speed, Centerforce dual friction clutch, removed old heads, cam, manifold and carb. Replaced those with the Edelbrock Performer Rpm power pack, added Hooker headers to 40 series Flowmaster, Ignition is MSD Plug wires, Distributor and Ignition box. Added new SSBC front disc/power brakes and will be installing electrical vacuum pump to assist with braking. New front suspension with Eibach Springs and shocks front and rear, Competition engineering traction bars. Needs for the car is new body bushings, 12 bolt posi, body, paint and interior, weather stripping. It is a money pit but I would not trade it for anything. Look forward to chatting with everyone.

Welcome to the board! I'd love to see pics, the '68s looked so cool. I don't have my Camaro yet and probably couldn't get away with what you're doing due to my lack of experience but it's still amazing that you snagged this one for $1600! Looking forward to pics and seeing how it develops!
