New Member at Team Camaro

Hi guys,

I am a long time member of other sites like TransAmCountry, LS1Tech and Pro-Touring.com, but since I now have a '68 Camaro it is about time I joined here! I am a long time lurker and first time poster. I hope to learn a lot as well as share in anyway I can.

Thanks guys,
Ryan

Welcome Ryan, Everett got everything right but the year thing but we can leave that for another discussion. Not to disappoint, let's see some pictures.

Re: New Member at Team Camaro

I don't want to start a fired up discussion, but I really don't think you can go wrong with any year first gen.

Maybe someone can answer this, but I cannot post pictures in my usual way where I copy the [IMG][IMG/] code? Can anyone assist? (edit: it is fixed, not sure what I was doing wrong)

Re: New Member at Team Camaro

Z28NV, thanks it doesn't look much different from the pictures from start to now, but there was a good amount of hidden rust from poor repairs in the past. My plans for the car are going to be in stages:

Stage1 is getting the car painted, running and driving as is with the current 5.3/6 speed setup.
Stage2 will include wheels/tires/suspension/big brakes/12 bolt
Stage3 is going to be adding a turbo.

This is going to be a build that will be done as time/money allow. I'm not going into debt for this build like my other car. My timeline for this car is to have it in paint by the end of May. I have all of the big parts I need to get the LS motor going in the car right now.

Cheers,
Ryan
