Im working on 71 project. Currently doing floor and rear frame rail replacement. Have most of the parts and pieces to finish it. Will be a street strip car and was wondering what you guys think it might run.
400 sbc
Factory crank
2 bolt main with stud kit
Scat 5.7 rods
Speed pro 12.5cc dish hyperutectic pistons
Edelbrock E-210 heads.
2.08 1.60 valves. 64cc chambers
10.25:1 compression
Comp magnum 294s solid lifter cam
294adv [email protected] 525lift 110lsa
1.65 scorpion roller rockers actual lift 577
Edelbrock tunnel ram
2 holley 660 center squirters
1 3/4 long tube headers
Th350 full manual valve body
Haven't bought a stall convertor yet but thinking 3500-3800
8.5 10 bolt posi. 411 gears
28X10.5 m/t slicks on centerlines
Skinnies up front on centerlines
90/10 lakewood front shocks
50/50 summit racing rears
Lakewood traction bars

So what does everyone think of my combo? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks for letting me join the forum.

Welcome, Kyle.
Nice list and reads like a project for the moment. Good luck in finishing.
I suggest do a search for horsepower calculator, maybe Wilson Racing(?), and plug in the values and read the results.
Also, I believe the same site has qtr mile ET estimator if you know the weight of the Camaro.
Some members here will suggest changing to a THM400 - heavy duty vice THN350 - light duty.
I suggest going to a PG with a 1.82:1 or 1.98:1 gear ratio.
If you chose a 1.82, it comes from an L6 engine and swap piston from a V8 PG for adding an extra disc.
1.98 is aftermarket ratio. ATI maybe?

Also, you might start a project build thread.
