Clean 73

Hello from Sycamore IL

Picked up a clean Arizona 73 last Friday, it's still sitting in Az at my brother's house waiting to make the journey to IL..
Haven't had an F body in a long time and felt the urge to get one after selling my 69 Chevelle (going to miss that car).
It is a base Camaro that is dressed up a bit but the body is what sold me. It has a fresh coat of paint but I was able to get pics of it while it was still in bare metal, that was the selling point. Red stripes have to go but, they are on top of the clear so it's a bit easier.

I was running 550hp and 600 fpt in the Chevelle, not going to get that crazy in the Camaro, planning more of a mild LS swap and setting it up for fun country driving..

Here's a pic of it as it sits at my bro's house and as it was naked..

Looking forward to learning from this site as I did at Team Chevelle.

Thanks
Bill

Re: Clean 73

I'm a old body man so I know the value if finding one like this, there were others for less money but, you can't really tell what is under that paint

Re: Clean 73

Thanks David

There is a large red stripe down the back of the car as well, I'm sure some folks like that, I'm more "traditional"

I have a full set of Torque Thrust rims with Mickey Ts on them, they may replace the American Mags over time, always nice to have options...
