Howdy!

Hi all!
My name is Kelley Timms. I worked for Rick's Camaros for 25 years. Yes... back in the day when Rick George owned it and we were in a 1200 sqft building in the very beginning. I left about a year ago and just wanted to catch up with the great Camaro folk I've met and helped along the way. Umm....I guess that's it!
Thanks,
Kelley

Re: Howdy!

Back about 10 years ago it was the place to get technically correct, good quality parts for your 1st Gen Camaro restoration. Lots of great customers that were more like a giant extended family.

Hey Kelly. Thanks for dropping in. I believe I have met you.

I used to drop by to get parts and drool over the display cars. Loved the one with the hemi headed 302 and the other race car. Cannot forget the split in half display either.

Hey Andrew,
You could have...I was always the one that liked to talk too much! Rick still owns the Hemi-302 car and the Cut-away car was sold to the owner of Zaxby's. Supposedly, he is wanting to open a museum.

Welcome! I bought a lot of stuff from Ricks and other places around that time period, 10 to 12 years ago or so.

Hey Mike,
You weren't the guy who drove down from Canada on vacation for a chambered exhaust system and strapped it to the minivan like side pipes to get through customs were you?

Whatís the name of your place Kelley? If you donít mind me asking?
Reason I ask is JCC sold out and it looks like you are in GA. If you were the one that bought him out thatís going to help a ton of folks out restoring and buying parts in the south like myself.
If not, congrats on the new place and good luck!

Thank you! It is Midnight Oil Musclecar Parts, I just stick with the Camaros and Firebirds with the occasional local guy who needs a truck part or two.

Hey Roger,
Thank you! I do have a Camaro. I am currently working on a 73 RS. I put in an LS6/T-56 6-speed from a 2002 SS that had a disagreement with a local tree. I guess I need to start putting pictures in my garage here!
