As usual, a new guy...

Hey guys, another new guy here. While I'm new to this site, I'm not new to cars. Although, this is my first Camaro and also, my first convertible. I've been wanting some sort of a convertible and a Camaro for years. Well now, I have them both wrapped up into one. It's a running, driving car. It's a pretty solid car and I am pleased with it compared to some of the stuff I've seen and sellers wanting top dollar for it that's overpriced. It's a straight-6, factory 3 speed on the floor. Sorry, I cannot post images because my post count is too low. Never heard of that...that's crazy. I can understand trying to sell something with the possiblity of scamming another member, but posting pics?! Geesh!! What's the harm in sharing a project?

Yes, I did and I got a message at the top of the screen saying my post count is too low and that I only have 3 post. Which that one made 4 and this one makes 5. But, I went to classifieds and I could post a "for sale" add. I think that's putting the cart before the horse, if you ask me. I used an image hosting site and it let me attach the images and everything. I could even see them in the "preview post." But, it just wouldn't let me actually post the thread.

That car was a source of much discussion on this forum back when it was on Craigslist with an original photo from back in the day with three ladies sporting some entertaining hairdos etc.

Should be a thread somewhere, probably in the what’s it worth forum.

Looks good. The previous owner could not judge distances very well. He liked to tap things with the front end of the car. Other than that, the car looks like it is in good shape. Engine, transmission good? No leaks? Suspension tight? Do you know a any rust problems?

What are your plans for the car?

Yeah, I have that photo Don. I still need to come by your house and look at your Art Morrison chassis too.

Although pretty solid for a 50 year old car, it's not perfect. It has a few issues like the corner of the passenger's fender by the battery tray. Rockers are good overall except the very bottom up under the car of the driver side. It's about a 4"x2" hole on the very bottom lip. You cannot see it unless you lay on the ground an look under the car. It does run...I've been driving it. No leaks and the suspension is not tight by any means. LOL!! I don't know if many of y'all are down with the pro-touring theme and some might not like what I'll do to the car. But, I have a full chassis on order with C7 suspension and 9" floater rear end, 19" Forgeline's with center lock conversion on order, a supercharged LS7 is already built and waiting and a T56 Magnum tranny. Color may stay white, but the red interior has got to go. I hate red...no offense to anyone that has a red car. So, all of the stuff that you asked me was good....engine/trans, suspension will come out anyway.

Re: As usual, a new guy...

Here's the pic of the little old ladies in the car, way back when. I also have the original title from 1969 and the protect-o-plate.
