Enjoying My Visit On Team Camaro

Hi my name is Gwen.

My first car was a first generation Camaro which I drove through high school and college. I had so, many wonderful memories in this car that I went on a quest to find it about 20 years ago. I was not able to find the exact car, but I found something even better. After a 12 year restoration project, it is finally done and now I just drive it on weekends and enjoy creating new memories.

Welcome Gwen. I am assuming it is a 69 Camaro. If it is then you have the best year.☝️👍

Welcome, Gwen, to the Club.
I'm betting 69 is your HS graduation year and you've bought the correct year being a '68.

Yes, pics would be nice, whenever you get to them.

Re: Enjoying My Visit On Team Camaro

Hi Everyone,

I have an album with pics of my Camaro. Can't everyone see them? If not where should they go?

Thanks,
Gwen

Re: Enjoying My Visit On Team Camaro

Gwen,
I am able to see all of your pics in your garage. Nice looking 69. Welcome from Texas, although I noticed you have been a member for some time. Have you had this Camaro since 2005 when you joined, or did you just get it? If you know the VIN of your first Camaro, you can post it here. Might help your quest. Plethora of knowledge on this forum in case you need help.

Re: Enjoying My Visit On Team Camaro

Thanks for all the reply's. I bought the Camaro in 2004 and became a member soon after. The car was pretty solid when I found it and it has been in California since 1970. Even in good shape and seemly no rust, I found several surprises along the way. It took 12 years to finally complete the restoration in 2016 and now I can just enjoy it and drive.

Agree with others, nice Camaro, you've done well, even with your surprises you found along the way.
