New to site

Hello everyone!

I stumbled upon this board while looking for a first generation Camaro. I have never owned one but it is a lifelong dream. I would love to eventually buy one to use a daily driver.

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Errol

Re: New to site

Welcome, Errol, to the Club and good luck with your search.
Tips: Make 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices in your search.
Read up over at Camaro Research Group for options and the like between the years.
Find s friend having a 1st Gen and ask for a test drive - way different driving compared to today's modern vehicle.
When you do get one, buy, at least, a Haynes manual, and learn from it.
You should also buy a vacuum gauge, feeler gauges
As said, Good luck in your journey, and post pictures of your choices and eventual buy.

Good luck with the seed planting. My wife keeps trying to pull the weeds out of my car garden.

Re: New to site

Hey Errol, as you are just over the boarder drive down to Marks next Monday night and you might see a few Camaro's for sale. Marks is the largest free weekly auto show in New England. Its held on the road right next to Bradley International Airport off CT route 20 (heading toward the AirGuard side of the Airport tarmac, but make a left down the road, not the right to enter the Guard gate.)
