New guy here

I built a 67 w/454 and a 69 w/427 back in the late '70's early '80's.. so that should give you an idea that although i'm new here, i'm not new to life.
I'm looking to get back in to the street rods and was looking at some C3 Vette's but quickly realized they have shrunk tremendously since the last time I was in one
So now looking at another Gen 1 to build in to a pro tour wannabe. Hopefully I find a good one to work with and then i'll be here picking your brains.

Welcome, if its big blocks you are leaning towards you will find a number of like minded souls. Are you sure that its just that the steering wheels grew while the cars were parked?

Re: New guy here

As you should be, your choice, and I meant for you in deciding your 1st, 2nd, & 3rd choices, or more if needed.
You got to know what you want and go find her.
Good luck in your search. Just a warning, whatever you buy, you'll be asked for pictures.

Re: New guy here

The 67 didn't work out, Bad title issue. Looked at a 68 last night that has a great engine but has bad rear quarter replacement.... looking at a 68 this afternoon that's supposed to have all original sheet metal.. The search has been very frustrating.
