Starting a new project on a 69

After drag racing for the last 40 years I bought a 69 Camaro that I am going to resto-mod. The car started out as a coupe, it is a native southwest car without a spot of rust anywhere, very solid body nice interior & the wiring has not been hacked up & it's a factory air car. Mechanically it's still a 50 year old car. I plan to rebuild the suspension, rearend & install probably an LS3 7 4l80e transmission. I want something we can drive as much as we can. I am starting to read through many of the posts to understand what all of you have been through with your builds & will have a ton of questions. I have wanted a 69 for many years, but admired them from a far, I don't know a lot about the details of this model yet. Thanks all in advance for the info I'll be asking.
