I am new to posting on the forum. I have a 1968 convertible that I am restoring for the second time in 32 years. It was my first car, purchased when I was 18.
I am looking for pictures of rear wiring harness routing & plastic covering. Plastic loom runs the entire length of the harness. I am wondering if this is correct or if someone has added some pieces in the trunk area. The reproduction replacement harness is completely wrapped with tape & has clips installed. The original harness has bare wires and clips attached to the plastic loom.

Thanks,
Tim

Re: New Forum Member

Welcome. Tim, to the Club. Correct year and kudos for keeping her alive.

I want to say the smooth walled split covering was OE and the route taken from drvr lick panel was down a groove under the rocker panel cover into the drvr rear window area and up the wheel house on the drvr side of joint to drvr rear light ,, clipped on the ledge, then over to pass side between the rear tail panel and filler tube then clipped onto pass light edge.
Others here will tell you more correct information. Read from them.
