69 camaro rs/ss with zl1 aluminum 427bb

I am very new to first gen camaro i just bought a 69 rs/ss with 4 speed m22 and zl1 427 aluminum motor.
Car is in okay shape but here in Hawaii its almost impossable to have a 100% rust free classic.
I would like to LS the car or change to iron small block with auto trans for racing i am not the purest guy i like having fun with my toys

Welcome, dude!
But where are all the pics of your ride?

Why donít you race with the ZL-1, you couldnít find a cooler engine to race with and tons of torque to squeeze that asphalt with!

Re: 69 camaro rs/ss with zl1 aluminum 427bb

Welcome to the site! I was stationed in Hawaii back in the mid 80s. BBCs were kind of rare on the island back then. I would keep the 427, but I'm a BB guy. Is it an original ZL1 engine, or one of the newer ones?

Experience...... It's what you get when you didn't get what you wanted.
