Former '69 Owner Looking Again

I was a member of TC several years ago and looking at possibly buying another 1969 Camaro. I have had four '69 Camaros so far. Truly miss my last one, a Z28 clone which was the best running and handling muscle car I ever owned. Actually had the chance to buy it back a few years ago but it had been through 2 more owners and had been seriously abused. Not to mention left in the Texas sun to bake. Got some other cars to move but looking around.

Re: Former '69 Owner Looking Again

Hi Jeff, and welcome back to the team. I have purchased two 69 Camaros from Texas which have been in good rust free condition (priceless).

Let us know your base requirements for a car along with travel distance so we can be on the lookout..........

Re: Former '69 Owner Looking Again

Thanks guys! I know it will be some solid money up front but I want a cortez silver w/black stripes car or lemans blue w/white stripes, real something or clone with a 4spd or upgraded to a 5spd or 6spd. Like Camaromaniac said, finding something with little to no rust is priceless and I am willing to pay for it. Would like to find something I can drive and then take it down for a few months to do some upgrades if needed and get back to driving. I have two cars to sell first, a '88 MB 560SEC Coupe and a '72 240z before I can get real serious about it. I am looking around and if a deal came along I could possibly pounce on it but would love to free up the garage space first.
