New and excepting any info on 396(3902406)

Hello all, thank you guy's and gal's for any future support. I have a 69' Z-28 that i'm currently trying to restore stock/custom. the car is an o.e. 69' but the previous owner was an idiot who scrapped the dz 302. so here i am with a semi aswome car which only has dollar value to myself. I have recently aquired a 396 from a 67 sumpthin and i'm tryin to get information on how to build it right. I'm looking for this car to do wheelies of the line, but I doo want it to squeel the tires from a rolling 30mph.

thanks again, Taaka..

Welcome to the Team! Why not try and locate another 302? There are still some floating around out there. You might want to put an ad in the Wanted section here on TC.

A Z/28 without a 302 has dollar value to many people. I would suggest find another DZ or maybe selling that car and buying another one to build a hotrod. A 302 is not going to pull wheelies unles you have 5.38 gears and build it like Jerry MacNeish builds his.
