Re: Seat Covers for Camaro

You would be better off with buying repro foam and repro seat covers from legendary and using those as patterns. Almost every one will be replacing the foam with repro, so you have to make sure your covers fit the repro foam, not 50 year old compressed foam.

Or you can provide special foam with bolsters and semi-custom leather covers to fit.

You can see the structure of the 1969 seat/foam/covers in my post here: https://www.camaros.net/forums/23-in...ard-shown.html

67 and 68s are similar, but differences in foam and covers between standard and deluxe

Maybe it would be better to buy some Camaro Seats and develop your own foam and covers instead of copying another vendor's product?

Re: Seat Covers for Camaro

It really depends on what youíre seeking to achieve.

Do you want to offer a cover that will replace OEM seats covers with standard foam?

Do you want to create more of a sport seat? Bigger bolsters etc?

Obviously you have to look a cost of R&D and potential market share based on price point in order to make a decision on whether or not itís viable.

2017 Corvette ZO6 with ZO7 Option
66 Chevelle Protour LS3/525(SOLD AT Mecum 2018)
69 SS396 Cortez Silver(SOLD)
69 Z28(Sold)
