bit the bullet

I just ordered the Holley avenger self learning efi today. It will take a couple weeks to get it, but I can't wait!!! 3k was alot of cash, but hey, it will be worth it! Should get it next week or the week after!

69 x-11..LS1, 420.88 horse to the tires,750 Holley Ultra DP, Torquer V2, darksides headers, PRC heads, 10.8:1 compression, forged bottom end, 5 speed. 2008 King Ranch F150 4x4.

Who did you order it from? The HP and Dominator is shipping but the Avenger is 3-4 weeks away.

Very cool. The first time you're able to let it drop down to 1000 RPM for a rolling stop in top gear and then accelerate away without downshifting you'll say "What the hell just happened????"

I ordered it from you guys this afternoon around 4 o'clock...he told me 7-10 days and that one has shipped already. I was told they were building them as needed right now...

Rex..I would love to have efi atop my engine..but closer to $5k.
Anyhoo..I hope it pans out for you.I doubt the wot hp will differ..but the driveability and cold starts will result in more mpg and reduced engine wear on cold starts.

i had the car chassis dyno'd in november...346 to rear tires...i don mind giving up a little for better mileage and easier starts....

You most likely won't lose anything peak. What you will gain is a good bit of torque "under the curve" in part throttle driving.

Well...here we be, 6/15...still no fuel injection kit...every time I call they tell me two more weeks! I asked for a refund today, I am going to go with another system....maybe a ls..dont know, but I am one unhappy camper...

I ordered the HPefi system (550-411) on May 10th, didn't get it until June 24th.
