Question does the LS1 hit the power steeting box

I thinking of installing a LS1 and 6 speed into my 67. My question is does the motor hit the power steering box? The LS1 already has header on the motor..

Re: Question does the LS1 hit the power steeting box

The motor wont hit the steering box but the headers will unless they are made for a first gen. Dynatech makes about the cheapest and best headers for the conversion $400.00. If you are not experienced with this swap get on ls1tech or pro-touring a do a ton of reading. It isn't hard but there are a lot of little things to know

Here's my DynaTechs with an LS2. No probs, other than I needed new plug wires for #5& #7 due to the tube design.
