Car stalls after 10 minutes

I got my car back after it was in Auto body jail for 11 months. It starts fine but after about 10 minutes it stalls rather abruptly. It will cut out then run and cut out. It has fuel injection on a HO 454. Voltage is 13-14 volts, fuel pressure looks good. It almost acts like ignition. I was wondering if it could be a bad O2 sensor also. Any thoughts on what it could be?

Time suggests temperature. Look for something that changes temp after 10 mins. Coolant temp sensor?

Re: Car stalls after 10 minutes

Would a bad temp sensor cause the engine to shut down?

Re: Car stalls after 10 minutes

I know nothing about Retrotek Speed EFI.
I agree, it is most likely something temp related, but could be either in the fi or the ignition.
If your efi is like most, a bad O2 sensor or temp sensor would not likely be the culprit. Both would cause issues, but not likely an abrupt stall. If your fuel pressure is good, I would look at the ignition first.

Re: Car stalls after 10 minutes

It turned out to be a bad coil. Thanks for the help.
