Question Unneeded emissions hoses?

Cleaning up the top end of the LS2 after I rotated the fuel rail 180 degrees....
This series of (air) hoses wrap around the intake, and the one with the red cap shown here used to attach to the original cold air intake. They originate at a sensor at the front passenger side of the intake, then wrap around to the rear of the engine as shown in the other picture.

Are they needed anymore? I had emissions turned off in the ECM. I tried to find out what the sensor is that they're attached to but didn't get a definite answer.
Thanks!

Re: Unneeded emissions hoses?

I suppose it couldn't hurt. Actually the larger one in front goes into the valve cover... not the sensor. I can always throw them back on if need be.
