Fast EZ EFI 2.0 ignition system question

Hey guys, I am finally installing my Fast EZ EFI 2.0 into my 68 camaro. My current ignition system consists of MSD 6al-2 Programmable, Blaster SS coil and MSD Pro Billet Distributer. After reading all the issues using the MSD DIstributer, I decided to just buy the FAST Dual Sync. My question is should I run the 6al-2 programmable still with the blaster ss coil or remove the 6al box? Or any other input, ideas or suggestions?

Well I called FAST and decided to leave the 6al-2 box in. The car fired right up and have no issues so far.

What differences have you noticed vs carb? I've done a 1.0 install and thought it was great; especially the fuel economy (+4mpg)/fire up over the 750dp I had. Also, what are the functional benefits of FAST's dizzy?

Re: Fast EZ EFI 2.0 ignition system question

I haven't driven the car as of yet, still doing some wiring. The car starts right up and idles perfectly. Throttle response seems crisper. I went with the FAST dizzy because all of the problems I saw people were having had different distributers and there problems went away after they replaced it with the fast dual sync. I figured I would play it say and go with what works.

Good call. The programmable curves and lack of weights to stick seems like a great idea. Keep us posted friend!
