Bung locations?

I have my motor out right now and am adding EFI, I want to have a bung welded into my headers but am not sure or the location because the engine is out and I can't test fit. Does anyone have any pics of theirs? Its a small block with a Muncie.

Thanks!
Bill

Re: Bung locations?

I would not weld in bungs until the engine is installed to make sure you have clearance for the O2 sensors

Re: Bung locations?

Somewhere after the merge collector or in the first 12" or so of the pipe after the flange is where I see them most.

Agree with above... wait for install and find out where it fits best.

I have a small window where my brother is going to bring my new engine and wanted to do the install while he was in town, maybe I will just ask him to bring his welder

Thanks for the advice

Re: Bung locations?

I ended up just mocking it up and welding them in place under the car, was pretty easy.
