Body roll...help!!!!!!!

Ok I have the mini tub complete on my 69, problem is after moving each spring in about 6" on each side and moving the shocks inward to a straight up and down position, the car has developed serious body roll. What is your suggestions to fix this? Pictures are always helpful.

Re: Body roll...help!!!!!!!

A Sway Bar (NOT the Link Type) will help, but probably have to Customize one from a Smaller Car to fit the spacing.

Here's a PIC of the F41 Option on my 70Z:

Re: Body roll...help!!!!!!!

Now that your springs and shocks are further inward, they have less leverage to resist body roll. Depending on how good your shocks are now, you may need a stiffer set...or get stiffer leafs too. I think that adding a sway bar at this point may mask the crux of the problem that you now have.

Re: Body roll...help!!!!!!!

I have the ranchos out back, and just to note in case you didn't realize this is a Drag Race Application. I tightened the shocks up a bit and it seemed to help quite a bit, I will be testing in a couple weeks to see what it does on the track and I will go from there, I just wanted to see what some of you guys have done to limit the body roll..

Calling Addco is a very good thing too. But yeah, drag racing is not their forte'.

Re: Body roll...help!!!!!!!

Took the car out his weekend and Blew the Drive Shaft out of it, could body roll do this? The thing dead hooked the first pass BUT the body twisted BAD!, I figure its either a pinion angle issue or the body roll caused it, whats your thoughts? I am looking for a low budget cheap way to fix the body roll, I would love to see some pics of some anti roll bars installed in the back of some 1st gens with leaf springs still in if anyone has them please please post them as I have no idea how to install one. Thanks!

Re: Body roll...help!!!!!!!

Think if I put shocks on the outside of each side it would help? THinking about being the only car to run 4 shocks out back.
