Update

I'm not sure my car 100% qualifies for Pro-street, it was always to be pro-street just too hard to register down here in "nanny state" Australia

I have another thread on TC but thought I'd throw up some latest pics in here

Recap

68 Camaro
632 World Crate motor (816Hp)
17x12's with 390 M&H Drag Radials on the rear (15" of rubber per wheel - only babies compared to most)
17 x 7 with 215's on the front
Not caged (as if done, can only be run as a 2 seater, and I wanna take my wife and daughter for runs in it)

Can't run anything out the bonnet here, so getting registered with a 1050 Dominator on standard manifold all under a 4" Cowl

Once on the road it will be running a tunnel ram with twin 1000 CFM BG Race Demons.

That is until I can save the pennies for a 12/71 with Hilborn injection (not cheap and adds a lot to get shipped over here + FX rate) so looking at between $12-14K to take it up to this....

Just started painting it last week, some pics below

The interior fluro lights don't do this pearl PPG Vibrance colour justice. It has red and green tinges when viewed in certain angles.

Here is a test panel in the bright sunshine

Re: Update

Wow, that's pretty impressive. Makes mine look like it was built in my back yard. Actually mine was built in my back yard. That's some fine looking fabrication work. Someone has some skills.

Re: Update

Do you have to convert it to right hand drive?

Re: Update

That is SWEET !! Any chance for some interior shots ? It looks like a lot of custom fab work on the inside that will really set it off and I would love to see it !!

WOW!! Impressive looking car.

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue

Re: Update

Thanks ! I found your thread on PT.com and have been commenting over there. It's too bad the Aussie laws are so strict on tire width and stuff sticking out of the hood ! Is that an early '70's Falcon ( Torino over here) in the shop next to your car ? It looks bad azz too, even though I am a true Chevy nut .

Yeah it's a late 70's XC Falcon. Wicked car, 521 BBF full on show / drag car...biggest treads I have ever seen in my life. Shop owners son's car

I'm not worried about the laws, once I save some pennies...it'm going blown injected....
