Been doing a little research in this forum. Looking to find opinions about street tires. It seems that the Hoosier Pro Street were the favorite for the street. I understand that street radials are not meant for racing. I'll get some slicks for that. Just looking for a good Pro Street tire for local and maybe some short highway driving. Has anything changed in the last year or so. Or are the Hoosiers still the better tire instead of the M/T SRs. Also, I live in Florida and"may" get caught in an ocassional rain shower. But I'll mainly be a fair weather driver with this car.

I have been running the MT SR 31x18 for the past 2.5 years with no issues. They have a nice ride and when i got stuck in the rain they did well there too. Only issue is they dont hook, but for me that is ok as i have a spare set of rims with MT drag radials on them for the times i need it.
