1/4 window v/s tubs

The 68 I just bought doesn't have the 1/4 windows installed because of the tubs. I've attempted to attach a picture showing some modifications which have been done. I need some help from someone who knows what they were trying to accomplish. Thank you, John

If you want, send me a PM with your email address and I can explain to you how I bolted mine in.

Very, very simple, using some 1" x 1/8" flat bar, some vibration mounts and mounting hardware that consists of pop rivets and 1/4" bolts and nuts.

If your tubs are any decent size, you won't be able to roll the quarter windows down. Mine are fixed in the up right position and the regulators have been removed. They probably removed yours to install the tubs. You will need to re-install the glass with the track but not the regulator.

This video breaks down the parts inside.

Interesting. I have a convertible that is mini tubed with Dynacorn wide wheelhouses. They are similar to DSE mini tubs. I installed the quarter panel window and it rolled up and down.

You must have some huge wheel houses. What am I missing?

It's hard to see your work with the grainy pics, but it looks really good from what I can see. I'd love to see more pics of the rest of your car. It looks like a beast, but you should start another thread. You posted in someone elses.
