Tubs ???

Aluminum or steel ?? Which did you use and why ???

Steel - so they could be welded in to the outer wheel housing and inner trunk pan. I wanted everything as structurally sound as possible on my build. I would use aluminum if I wanted that race car look where everything was beaded and rolled aluminum with a full cage of course.

I also used steel for the same reasons. Seems like a better choice for street use.

Steel for me, too. Much more solid when putting the back pieces together with steel.

If you are doing a functional street car i dont think aluminum is a rational choice

67RSSS......owned since 69. A basket case for most of it.
