Biggest Tire

What is the biggest tire you can run on a 69 without having to stretch the quarters?

Currently I'm preparing to install 33 x 18.5's MT Street ET tires but I'm having a hard time

thinking I'm going to cut apart, GM quarters that I installed and are straight as an arrow.

A friend wants me to look into a small, but wide tire, like the MT 29 x 18.5, so will this size

fit without cutting things open? I believe the opening is like 30"?

Anyone have any pictures of a Camaro with these on?

69 Camaro, 496, 10.34 @ 134.77 mph.

Re: Biggest Tire

My car is mini tubbed with large tubs from Chris Alston so my limiting factor on diameter is the wheel opening. I'm running 29" X 12" slicks and 29" X 14.5 Hoosier QTP's. To get them to fit I did have to trim the front lip of the wheel opening by about 1/2".
