With the stroker I'd set the total to 34 degs and test 2 degs at a time from there. Very few I've seen really like more even if they tolorate it. Get it good and hot and lug it, drive normal and hit it wot and listen for pinging. If it sounds good at 36, I'd run 34 on the street until you really had a chance to track tune for performance.
