    Thanks Bob,
Much appreciated! I reached out to Todd and Stephen and maybe something will work. I'd appreciate it if you could keep an eye out. I'll let everyone know when I have something workable so you can "call off the hounds" Anyway... from the million or so posts i've read, It appears you are definately the go-to man on sheetmetal and parts, so I'll definately call you when the need comes around.

    Hi Dave,

I know which piece you are talking about. It is only available in repro form with the full trunk floor. If I come across a donor car that we are going to scrap the trunk in, I'll be sure to put it to the side for you. Have you checked with Todd? I think he might be doing a full trunk floor. Also Stephen (Zulu)is doing a full trunk in his 68. Not sure how far along those guys are,but it might be worth checking with them. Removed the trunk in my 69 last year, and scrapped it all .

    Hi Bob,

I'm looking for a donor part that I can salvage a piece from. I need the passenger side of the horizontal cross brace (connects the 2 rear shock towers) under the forward section of the trunk pan. This brace is sandwiched between the the shock tower support bracket and the trunk pan sheet metal. I think full trunk pan replacements have this piece already welded on. Is this part available seperately? I'd prefer not to have to buy a full floor just to remove a small section and my ability do do much fabrication is limited these days.

The rust (and previous "repair") is so bad I can't even get an idea of the original shape of this piece in the pass side shock tower area.

I have a thread on TC with more detail here...

    Thank you,
