    1) I got 2 pieces of square tubing, one big enough so the other one just fit inside it. They're about 2" square and approximately 5" long.
    2) cut them to the appropriate length & drilled holes in the appropriate places to so I could adjust the height of the snubber.
    3) bought a reciever hitch pin for the holes (I think it's 9/16")
    4) welded 2 pieces of strap metal to the end of one of the tubes with a gap just the right size to install the factory rubber snubber,
    5) weld in place under the car where the factory snubber was mounted.
    I have two positions on mine, the lower one is with the snubber just touching the pinion with the car at rest. Make the other position as high as you can for cruising.
