Searching for '69 Z/28 parts, I accidentally ran across a 1967 GM Holley carburetor part # 3916145 list 3911. According to my books it is a 1967 carb that was used on '67 Z/28 or hi-performance big blocks. Would it be a 780 CFM? What would something like this be worth? It looks like it is all there, but it would need rebuilding. Thanks.
I'm not a numbers/decoding guy, but if it really is a carb that only came on 67 Z/28's, I bet it'd be pretty valuable to 1 of the owners of the 602 that were made.
The only one I have seen has been a 1969 service replacement carb. I am going to find out what date this one is. List 3911 is for a smog engine and thats what my car has. I have a list 3910 that is dated early 67 that came with my car. Hopefully this is 67 carb
Best of luck Jonesy. Wish it was me that had it, I'd almost give it to you if I could. I'm all for making sure as many 67 Z's stay on the road as possible. With so few of them left, we all gotta try to save what we can.
Thanks for the info John. I have been in touch with Doug and he is going to find out the date code. The date code on my List 3910 is 742 or 2nd week of April, 1967.
Hey Doug, you ever find anything out on this carb??
Let me know
