RS, 4Spd, Center console with gauges, Factory tilt wheel, Tinted glass
X11 Car, Norwood Ohio build, Sept. 1969 4th week. I bought it in spring of 1986 supposedly from the 3rd owner. All verification I've done indicates true RS car with the above options.
1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS (Silver/Primer)
This was in the car. when I purchased it. Built up 1970 truck 350 block 4 bolt main, De-stroked 327 large journal forged crank. LT1 camel hump heads, 2.02 1.60 valves. Crane roller rockers. Weiand dual plane manifold, Holley 650 Dbl Pumper mechanical secondaries, electric choke. Crane XR1 ignition point eliminator. Headers w/glasspacks.
Deluxe interior. Center console with gauges. Shoulder belts, Tilt wheel.
Steel GM Cowl induction hood and factory spoilers not original car added sometime early in its life.
Have a cheap Bluetooth radio in glove compartment. Rear 6X9 style Sony speakers that are actually 8" round with Tweet and mid. Factory repo rear speaker grills.
Heavy duty replacement Moog front and rear springs installed shortly before I bought the car. KYB Gas-adjust shocks. Heavy duty 1 1/8" sway bar. Rebuilt quick ratio Power steering box. Rebuilt suspension and steering with new bushings, ball joints and tie rod ends. Rear leaf traction bars came with car and will stay for now, would need new spring plates to change out. Installed Prothane subframe bushings.
