How does your Camaro handle now with the upgrades ? I am looking at replacing engine and transmission along with rear end. Most of the advice I’m getting is exactly what you currently have in your Camaro right down to the rear end ratio. How is cruising around town and going down highway ? I just bought my 69 Camaro RS and want a little more acceleration and speed. Anything you can share with me on how it drives will be extremely helpful.

Sorry for not responding earlier. The car is perfect for street driving. It handles really well, able to drive at 75 mph on the freeway with no problem. The 700r4 and rear end ratio make acceleration fun and easily light up the tires. I used poly subframe bushings and kept the control arm bushings rubber to get a more comfortable and quieter ride. I used massive amounts of interior insulation to make it quiet and comfortable inside. its not a dragster, not a auto cross winner, but is fun and comfortable on normal streets
