History
bought it in 2015 from the second owner. She had the car the last 18 yrs here in CA and only able to drive it when the weather was nice (hole in the top) Previous owner was given the Camaro from her Uncle (original owner) when he moved from NY to FL. He didn't have space at his new place. She had alot of NY rust, so a thorough restoration was how she was going to survive.

Modifications

Drivetrain
Although covered with a custom over, she now has a LS3 /480 with a 4L70. We'll add some goodies later!
Interior
Starting with the dash, we cleaned things up. We sealed and filled the holes for the wiper/lights/lighter and keys.
I went across the grain and went with MCI. Door panels, back quarter panels, dash & center dash. I bought the console from Tognotties Autoworld (in stock) The seats are ProCar Rally hounds-tooth. The dash includes an Autometer 5 gauge kit & MOMO steering wheel. We modified the rear seats and added the hound-stooth and covered the door panels in black and hounds-tooth in the center.
Exterior
We are going restomod! The plan is give her such a new look, her old mom won't recognize her. Making her a tribute RS, adding front and rear spoilers and stinger hood. (I loved the old Yenkos & I wanted to be a little different)
Modifications are subtle and include:
Flush windshield (very hard to find on a convertible)
Front valance has been modified to include 2-5" Fesler driving lights (like a 69) and we opened it up.
Rear valance includes a frenched in rear plate and popped the exhaust through.
Cowl is filled and sealed
Cut, Tucked & painted the rear bumper
Raised the trunk floor 4"s so we could raise the Ricks SS tank.
Seams sealed, welded & filled
She was an original butternut car, but she's going which a current (2017) GM color off the vettes, Glen Watkins Grey, with just a few black accents.
Audio
Pioneer, not much more than just 4 speakers and an Amp.
Suspension
Went with Heidts! (feelin the heat from all the Ridetech fans in here) The complete ProG subframe/control arms/coil overs/R&P/ and wilwoods in all 4 corners. Heidts was running a hellofa deal at Reno's Hot August Nights, so I bought the rear 4-link with the narrowed Ford 9' too.
Wheel and Tire
American Racing, Billet Alum Rally wheels. 18x11s in back and 18x8s in front. Tires are Nitto's, 315s in back, 225s in front
