Hello driveline and transmissions,

In building my 12 bolt, I needed a new pinion yoke. So I jumped at a Spicer 1350 that seemed a good price. I do realize that such a heavy universal joint probably will never be needed in my case, but now I've got the yoke. But I don't want to assemble the diff with the 1350 unless I'm sure thats the road I'll go down.
I will be having a custom driveshaft made anyway, and plan on buying a new slip yoke. So do I continue with the 1350 program, or stop and go with a 1330 or even the stock 1310. Everything 1350 really doesn't seem to increase the price much anyways.

Will having the 1350 style cause me any other unforseen issues in the future?

It can't hurt to overbuild, or can it?

Cheers, Mark

1350's are a great piece of mind. I've done vicious things and that is never the part I worry about breaking first. We have a pool running on what I'll break, no one picked the u-joints. (input shaft, pinion, 2nd gear, all popular picks!)
