If you have the conventional style starter (non mini) it's easy to tell which flywheel you have without counting teeth.
The "I" bolt pattern starter nose (bolts parralell to flywheel) is used on the 12.75" (or 153 tooth) flywheel.
The "Z" bolt pattern starter (staggard bolt pattern) is used on the 14" or 168 tooth flywheel.
I've used the mini starters from Hamburger, Tilton and Canton, they're all the same, they're all awesome.
By the way, the mini starters are double drilled to convert the I bolt patttern for use with either the 12.75 or 14" flywheels, but you may have to drill and tap the outboard bolt hole if you block is only drilled for the "Z" pattern. This is easy to do..
