This may be a silly question, but I am stumped. I had used the ACC spade on the fuse block to run a simple radio, which worked fine. When I added my electric choke, I lost power soon thereafter. All of the fuses on the inside fuse panel test good, so I am assuming there is a fuse/fuse-link somewhere else. I taped the windshield wiper fuse, which is only a 10amp and both the choke and radio run fine, even with the wipers going.

I have checked the manual as well as these forums, but I have yet to find an answer.

Thanks in advance,

Ryan

What is the condition of your fuse panel? If you have a test light you can jump across the two sides of the fuse holder and see if you have power going to it. if not you might just unscrew it and check the connections behind the panel and the condition of the clip on the acc socket.

Repair parts are sold by American Automotive Wire http://aaw.com and http://lectriclimited.com

The choke can't be drawing too much power.

The fuse panel seems to be in decent shape, but I need to take it apart, to see what issues are behind it. I will check that and report back.

Thanks for the info!
