My 1967 Camaro has eaten 3 hideaway headlight motors on the driver's side only. The passenger side works great with no problems The driver's side will work fine for a couple of days and then nothing. I do hear a clicking soud from the relay board. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Robert. I don't know what is wrong with your system. But I've replaced all my relays & limit switches. I had tried using the old parts, but got intermittent results so the advice was to replace. I did searches & found the part number for relays - sourced at local auto parts store. Still waiting for some plugs to add relay fresh power to replacement Cibie 80W headlights so have not had a chance to test out operation with new parts. Could the motors be burning out because the limit switch isn't shutting power off when the door reaches the end of the run? That's the only reason I can think of to burn out a motor.

Good luck
