Hi, I have been looking at a '68 camaro. It has a 327. Black vinyl top. Nothing special. It is all original, Mint condition. It looks restored but it's not. Southern car from Arkansas. Is $6,000 a good deal? Thanks!
Being that it is a souther car I would really check the key areas for rust, trunk, floor, that area where the dash and the windshield meet etc. $6,000 sounds good for a complete camaro in good condition.
like bigtedards said be sure to check all around the the windsheld and back glass for any rust, the one i bought had a vinyl top and when we wnt to re-seal the glass the roof was completley eaten with rust. Good Luck
I would also look at the vinyl top and feel it... if the top has (little) bubbles underneeth it, it is probably rust (when it is a coupe offcourse
) If it is a vinyl ragtop... I would check if it is waterproof.
