I'd say your actuator is upside down. I believe the vacuum nipples should be on the inboard side. That said, some of the repro hose kits have a history of failing (cracking) in short time. I probably shouldn't say anything, but mine have held up well so far. They're about 10 yrs old, I'd guess.
Save your money and get quality hoses from NAPA or one of the parts stores at 25% the cost of the color coded ones, unless you are concourse restoring. I have one car that the hoses are in great shape in 42 years and another 30 years, keep in mind they live in a climate controlled building with car covers.
