What fuel line are guys using from pump to carb, without the GF 432 filter, on a 1969 396?? I have a long water pump and the 3 piece line for the 396/375hp doesn't fit. Could I just cap the vapor return on the GF 432 filter if I go that route??

Which carb? I was able to use the 68 396 QJet line with just a few tweaks to the bend to make it work with the passenger side alternator on my 69 Qjet equipped car. Less than 15 minutes it was on the car and flowing.

Really. I am using a Holley Street Avenger with dual inlets. I'm not expecting an exact fit , just something close I could tweak as you did. Is that a 3/8's line??
