Just a little more info.
Does the slow actuator start moving the instant it's suppose too? Or does it just 'sit there' and then move suddenly?
My new repro left side actuator just sat there, then it started to move. Took about a minute. Turned out that I had to pry the open rod upwards. It was as if it was misaligned internally. After the third 'pry', it works perfectly.
What's weirder is that the original canister was doing the same thing. I just thought it was DOA. Go figure.
Oh, the first trouble shooting step for you to do is swap canisters from one side to the other. I'm sure you can understand what info such a test provides.
