Under The Rocker Moldings On My Car Is A Black Crinkel Type Paint. Should This Area Be Painted The Body Color? What Is Correct?

My 77 Sport Coupe was painted body color.
I'm not sure about 74 Z's..... I would post that question on the Second Gen Camaro website....
