Hey guys,
My son has a '97 Camaro that needs a driver side window motor. I plan on drilling the inner panel and drilling the rivets on the motor and replacing the motor. My question is: the rivets holding the regulator are also loose causing the regulator to slide up and down. The previous owner has already taken some self tapping screws and screwed them in next to the rivets in the regulator to tighten it up. Should I go ahead and replace the regulator now or at least drill out the rivets and replace them? And I was considering replacing the rivets even if I don't replace the regulator using some 1/4" pan head screws and lock nuts. Would that work? Thanks, Matt.
