I used some light steel, like angle iron but with the thickness of sheet metal, it was some shelf material so it had holes perforated every half inch or so, this makes it very light and provides easy mounting points for it and for electric fans, etc. I made the frame by cutting two pieces for the sides, bolting them to the core support, then I welded the bottom piece on to the side pieces. "could be bolted if you dont have a welder" I put stock later model rubber radiator mounts in the bottom rail, set the radiator in, then used a later model chrome radiator support plate on the top with the rubber mounts. "had to drill the 3 holes in the top of the core support for the chrome radiator support" If this sounds good let me know and I will try to figure out how to post a pic on here! I may even have 20 or 30 more feet of that material laying around! Sure beats paying 100 or 200 dollars for a mounting kit!
